Chyna’s Approach
Her approach is a cross between photojournalism and fashion; with a touch of traditional. However, her style is far from the common misconception of traditional being 80′s style soft focus filter phtography. Each of the different photography styles has their place during a wedding day and a family portrait session.
During a wedding ceremony photojournalism is a necessity. Chyna prides herself in being able to get fabulous ceremony images while remaining completely unobtrusive. During the bridal party picture time she directs the scenes so that the mood stays fun and the end result has a fine art and fashion style flare. When its time for family pictures these lean toward the traditional realm of photography, but with a more relaxed feel.
Chyna enjoys capturing the warmth and interchange shared by each couple’s family and friends. Her eye for details also reveals many of the day’s fine points that may escape a busy bride’s notice. However, one of her favorite parts of each wedding day is the ‘one-on-one’ time she spends with the couple.
